However, the Department of Transport has highlighted the need to restructure the public transport system to make affordable public transport available to all South Africans.
Functions in this sector are often associated with the maintenance of transport routes, the extension of existing transport routes, or the construction of new transport routes.
Examples of Target Cranes’ work in the transport industry include the construction of new road and rail networks, the extension and upgrading of existing road and rail networks, as well as ongoing maintenance contracts.
Target Cranes is currently working on projects on behalf of both Rainbow Construction and Vusela Constructions enhancing both Cape Town and Gauteng's roadworks.
